Overview

At Chedders Computer, we understand that receiving your laptop quickly and safely is just as important as choosing the right one. This Shipping Policy explains how we process, dispatch, and deliver orders across Lagos and Nigeria.

We use only reputable, insured logistics partners and take great care in packaging every order. All orders are dispatched from our store in Computer Village, Ikeja, Lagos.


Order Processing

Orders are processed Monday to Saturday, 9am – 7pm. Orders placed and fully paid within these hours are processed the same day. Orders placed outside of business hours will be processed the next business day.

Important: We only dispatch items after full payment has been confirmed and verified. Your order is not reserved until payment is received.

Lagos Delivery

Customers within Lagos State benefit from our same-day delivery service, subject to the following conditions:

  • Order must be placed and fully paid by 1:00 PM on a business day.
  • Orders paid after 1:00 PM will be delivered the following business day.
  • Delivery fees vary by location within Lagos and will be communicated at checkout or on order confirmation.
  • A delivery agent will contact you before arrival. Please ensure someone is available to receive the package.

Nationwide Delivery

We deliver to all 36 states and the FCT (Abuja) across Nigeria. Estimated delivery timeframes for nationwide orders are as follows:

  • 2–3 business days for most major cities and state capitals.
  • Remote or rural areas may take 3–5 business days depending on courier access.
  • All nationwide shipments are insured against loss and damage in transit.
  • You will receive a tracking number once your order is dispatched.
Insured Shipping: Every nationwide shipment is insured. In the rare event of loss or damage in transit, Chedders Computer will work with our courier partner to resolve the matter promptly.

Packaging Standards

Your laptop is delivered in its original, sealed manufacturer box. This is then placed inside a secure outer package (bubble wrap and reinforced cardboard) to protect it during transit. We never remove, tamper with, or break the manufacturer's factory seal before dispatch.

Notice: If you receive a package with a broken manufacturer's seal or visible outer damage, do not accept it. Contact us immediately at +234 916 000 6406.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive:

  • A WhatsApp or SMS notification with your tracking number and courier name.
  • A direct link to track your shipment in real time on the courier's platform.

If you have not received tracking information within 24 hours of a confirmed dispatch notification, please contact us immediately.


Delivery Delays

While we do everything to meet our quoted timeframes, delays may occasionally occur due to:

  • Public holidays or courier service disruptions.
  • Severe weather or security situations in certain areas.
  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by the customer.

Chedders Computer is not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers or circumstances beyond our control. However, we will always communicate with you and work to resolve any issue as quickly as possible.
